Ebenezer Chapel

Broad Marston, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire, UK

Tucked away in a rural hamlet, the rolling fields lead to a tranquil former Chapel. Our unique hideaway where beauty echo’s the outside world.

Introduction

Set on the outskirts of The Cotswold’s and Dating back to 1864. Ebenezer Chapel retains many of it’s original features. A modern luxury hideaway for those ready for wellness and decompression. Flooded with natural light from the steel windows in it’s modern open plan design.

Inside

Our quintessentially British home wouldn’t be complete without its fully equipped country kitchen. Tiled floors and Farrow & Ball colours surround in relaxation. Our favourite artwork is carefully hung throughout with careful nods to it’s heritage. A simple understated elegance to the design, no element of luxury has been compromised. From the roll top bath on the mezzanine to stunning 90 crystal chandelier.

Outside

Breakfast can be enjoyed whilst the sun rises over the Chapel. From dusk glowing fairy lights drape the grape twisted pergola. If you can bear to leave, there is much to discover beyond our walls. Walks, cycles and exploration awaits.

FROM THE OWNERS

“We love the fact the Chapel retains its former history dating back to 1864. Our favorite moments are enjoying dinner on the decking with grapes dangling above. ”

We chanced upon this beautiful former Chapel whilst scouring the web one evening. It’s perfectly placed; remote enough that there isn’t a mummer at night, and with just 5 mins drive unlocks the gate to the Cotswolds.

Previously a Primitive Methodist Church, there are subtle nods to the simplicity and purity of it’s former use. We’ve fully renovated whilst keeping the exterior as traditional as possible, complimenting the surroundings.

Ebenezer Chapel is the perfect base from which to explore the Cotswolds; whether heading out on foot along the winding lanes or head further afield to enjoy all that the Cotwold’s has to offer.
