Following the end of it’s use as a Primitive Methodist Church, it was renamed “The Old Chapel”. It’s rumored to have many uses under this name ranging from a fire station to farm shop

In 1996 the the Chapel was purchased by a Harry Johnson, owner of the neighboring Alverston Cottage. In March 1997 Harry applied to the council to convert the Chapel into the residential property it is today.
